Are your students looking to fulfil the Language, Philosophy, Culture core curriculum
component? Well, I have a class for you! GER 2333: German Literature in English
Translation, is being offered Spring 2017. This course examines magic spells, heroic epic
narratives, courtly love poetry, writing of Luther, the Faust tale, and come plays by Hans
Sachs from the German literary tradition. It covers literature and culture from the Middle
Ages to 1700.
