In an effort to correct the problems of the DegreeWorks server shutting down unexpectedly over the past week or two, OIT is increasing the number of scheduled restarts during the business day. The new schedule calls for the server to be restarted automatically at 7:00, 10:00, 12:00, 3:00, and 5:00. (In the past, the server was scheduled to be restarted two or three times during the day.) Each restart should result in between one and five minutes of down time, but OIT hopes this will eliminate the unscheduled server shutdowns. Jimmy James R.
