P2 override

We have always had many courses whose enrollment is limited to students who are in a particular field of study (major, minor, or concentration). Students who want to enroll in a class for which they don't have the correct field of study must have an M1 override placed in SFASRPO.
With the advent of the X-majors, each of which encompasses several intended majors, we have had to go to program code restrictions rather than major restrictions for some classes. For example, several sections of BIO 1404 are restricted to BIO, MI, and BCH majors and intended majors (just the lab portions are restricted). In order to include those XLHS majors who intend to major in one of these areas, we have restricted these sections not by major but rather by program code (BS-BIO, BS-BIO-XST, etc.). If you need to override the program code restriction to enroll a student in one of these sections, you will need to use the P2 override rather than M1.
