Meet Cynthia Flores

Kudoboard for Cynthia: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/TO1w7j5N
Hello, my name is Cynthia Flores. I am originally from El Paso, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso. There I worked as a peer tutor/mentor during my undergrad for a TRIO Program for first generation students. After graduating I went on to work with community centers, non profits, and other programs that helped the community through education. More recently when I moved to San Antonio, I worked in elementary schools as a Special Education Instructor. I am really passionate about education and can't wait to continue building that passion as an advisor. I am super excited to be joining the UTSA Advising Team!

Meet Bianca Zuniga
Academic Advising Unit: Engineering Studies
Kudoboard for Bianca: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/OdOZ9UDA
Hello! My name is Bianca Zuniga, and I'm excited to be a new academic advisor on campus. I was born and raised here in San Antonio, and I come from a Roadrunner family! Both of my parents attended UTSA before me, and my sister recently graduated from here herself. After completing my B.A. in both English and Classical Studies at UTSA in 2018, I went on to study philosophy. In December (2022), I graduated from UTSA again with my M.A. in Philosophy. My professional experience in the last several years has centered on teaching, advising, and mentoring students. In my free time, I love reading, cooking, spending time with family, and electronic music production. My latest release, The Awakening (2022), focuses on ambient and drone synth.
