AAC SUMMER SERVICE PROJECT
On behalf of the Academic Advising Council, we would like to invite you to participate in this year's summer service project. We had great success last year with the holiday service project donating used/new items for our four-legged friends. Any of the items listed below would be greatly appreciated to help San Antonio animals in need. We will collect items through Friday, August 7th, 2015. Please contact Miranda Swain (miranda.swain(a)utsa.edu<mailto:miranda.swain@utsa.edu>) for more information on submitting your donations (I am happy to come to each center to collect items if need be, and to store items as well). Please remember that even the smallest donations can go a long way!

Facilities Report
by advising@lists.sis.utsa.edu
Good morning everyone
For those of us located in the MS building, the "items" in the elevator have already been reported to Facilities. They are aware and are coming to take care of said "items."
Thanks for your patience and if at all possible, avoid the left elevator on the Testing Services side of the building for a bit this morning.

Hello everyone!

If we work with your advising office, the Athletic Certification staff (Ana Rodriguez, Jeremey Fewell, & Sandra Smith) is completely moved and open to answer any questions. We are still trying to work out some connectivity and telephone issues, but should be fully up and running in a few days. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us and we are happy to assist. Please share this information with your staff. Thank you all for the wonderful job you and your advising staff do to assist us with in Athletic Certification. We appreciate everything you do!

Dear Maria, Monica, and Barbara:
Attached you will find two undergraduate courses I will be teaching fall 2015. Both promise to be exciting, invigorating, and inspiring. One focuses on Mexican American Culture and the other examines identity formation in the context of the course and from sociological and psychological lenses. Please do all you can to help my classes make-we seem to be having a pattern of non referral to our MAS courses, including Mexican Americans in the Southwest (BBL/MAS 3033) and Latino Cultural Expressions (BBL/MAS 2023) in the Downtown Campus.
Thank you for you past, present, and future support. Please pass to other advisor and post.
Best,
Josie
