Hopefully, we will have more funding in the near future for U.S. Military Reservists and National Guard soon. [cid:image001.jpg@01D48D7A.BA5F47C0] EARN A SCHOLARSHIP WHILE PROTECTING AMERICA The U.S. Department of Defense offers full scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who pursue Information Assurance related fields of study. Following graduation, students are eligible for full-time employment with the Department of Defense. Students are required to work in the DoD a minimum of one year for each year of scholarship they receive. BENEFITS * Full cost of tuition and fees * Book award * Stipend of $25,000 for undergraduate students and $30,000 for graduate (Master's/PhD) students summer internship * Guaranteed employment upon graduation (contingent of eligibility to obtain a clearance) * Begin security clearance processing while being a student * Work with the best in cyber security ELGIBILITY * Must be a US citizen * 18 years of age or older * Desire to work in a field related to cyber security * Within two years of graduation at the undergraduate level * Enrolled full-time and/or accepted for enrollment in a cyber-security related field at the graduate or undergraduate level at UTSA * Online undergraduate program is allowed * Ability to obtain a security clearance. Hello Advising Community, Hope your day is going well. Just a reminder about the 2018 All Advising Appreciation scheduled for Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 8:00am-10:00am in the Business Building 2.06.04 (University Room). Breakfast will be provided. We outlined some information for you below. Agenda The meeting agenda is attached. We will be having a service project included, a donation to the RoadRunner Pantry would be appreciated. Main Event We will have a UTSA Holiday Trivia Game, a game between the tables, a play-off, winners, and prizes! Check-in Check-in will be from 8:00am-8:30am outside of the meeting room. Laptops will be set up that you can use to check in with your myUTSA ID (ABC123).
