Thank you all for reporting issues as they are now being address. Please see updates from enrollment below,
Here’s an update on the late registration issue:
EADS will remove the POT option. We are adding an Update Current Approver for the Department Chairs. They are currently working on the VPN issue. I also was getting the error yesterday (even with VPN) but we think it’s because we’re not students. These changes should be pushed to PROD today, but we are reverting back to the old form until we hear about the status of the process.
FYI, two students were approved yesterday (probably student workers or on campus students) and seven are currently pending instructor or department chair approval.

Late Add Form Update

I received information from Daniel Garcia in the Registrar's office that the Late Add Form website had been set up to only allow access to individuals that are VPN'd into the system.
OIT will be turning on access for individual outside of VPN by close of business today, 09/02/2020.

Subject: Great News! A Change to the Late Registration Form!
Dear Deans, Associate Deans and Department Chairs,
I would like to announce that the Registrar’s Office has moved the Undergraduate Late Registration form to an online process flow that allows undergraduate students to request permission to register for courses after registration closes on ASAP. We typically receive about 300 late registrations each semester and this new online format replaces the current paper process and allows for an easier, more efficient process submitted straight to your email for approval. [I apologize for the delay but we were still working through some coding and process flow!]
The process detailed below is for undergraduate students only and can be accessed from our Registrar forms page located here: https://onestop.utsa.edu/forms/registrar/<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fonestop...>. Graduate students will continue to use the fillable PDF that is already online and the established process.
The Undergraduate Late Registration process will be available only from 9/2 to 9/9 (Census Date) at 5:00 pm.
Process:
1. Students will submit the online form which will route directly to the instructor’s UTSA email for review and approval or disapproval (image below).
* Disapproved – Automatic message sent to student that request was disapproved and they should look at other classes
* Approved – Form automatically routes to the Department Chair
1. Department Chair
* Disapproved – Automatic message sent to student that request was disapproved and they should look at other classes
* Approved – Form automatically routes for adding the course and student notified.
* Department Chairs do have the option to route to other approvers for review instead (image below).
Emails will generate from NoReply(a)utsa.edu<mailto:NoReply@utsa.edu> with the subject: Late Registration Submitted – Approval Needed.
Please pass this information along to your faculty. There is a sample screen shot below. Thank you for your patience and understanding with continued change during this time. However, we see this as a very positive change and another step away from paper forms!!!

Hello,
UTSA’s fiscal year is coming to an end and so the Banner database will be placed into restricted role on Monday, August 31 (about 5pm), to allow for the end of year processes to run.
The restricted role allows only certain logins to access the database, so batch processing (AppWorx) can continue running. This means that most area processes will not be impacted (only those dealing with financial transactions).
We will notify you when the Banner database is back online but we hope to have it available before noon on Tuesday, September 1st.
ASAP and portions of the mobile app will also be unavailable during this time.
If any of you are involved with posting information on your social media sights then you might want to post a comment about the down time to avoid confusion for the students.
