Good afternoon! The UTSA Advising Outreach Initiatives for spring 2017 are coming soon. Based on recommendations from advising representatives on the CLASS Advising Task Force for spring 2017, and preliminary analysis of the tracker data, the advising executive leadership has agreed on a few minor simplifications in the materials distributed to the advising centers in December. As discussed during the December meetings, the timeline to begin the initiatives will remain April and May. Each advisor will receive their list after the close of the initial April priority registration dates, and will receive detailed instructions on the outreach. The lists will be pulled from current SSC data and will be comprised of the populations strategically targeted for spring 2017 outreach that we discussed in December: 201810 non-registered students, FR 1617 cohort, and 201720 unsuccessful graduation candidates. We will discuss the initiatives in more detail during the Advising Center Directors' meeting scheduled for Monday, April 3rd.
