As you can see, we have a great constellation of courses that we'll be offering next semester -- courses that can serve as electives for students in various disciplines. We are particularly excited about our new MAS 3423 Mexican American Foodways class which will be offered for the first time at UTSA. This course may be of interest to students in the Nutrition and Dietetics undergraduate program. We will also be offering a cross-disciplinary / co-taught course MAS 4953 Environmental Justice Research: Urban Ecology, Community Science, and Culture. This course is cross-listed with Environmental Sciences, English, and MAS so please feel free to encourage undergrad students from these disciplines to take this course. We will also be offering two music related courses --- MAS 2053 Performance Practicum and MAS 2063 Latinx Songwriting. These courses should be of interest to music majors. I wanted to share flyers for some of our Spring 2023 MAS classes that have low enrollment. As you know, our program is working hard to enroll students in our intermediate and upper-division courses.
