Subject: Calculus 2 sections
Patti,
Because our MAT 1224 Calculus 2 sections were maxed out before Christmas, we opened two new sections (12 & 16). There are 101 student waitlisted (at the time I printed this out last night) and 86 available seats. Although I suspect many of the "waitlisters" are already registered in other sections, there must be some who are looking for a section to take.
Do you know of any way to easily contact all the waitlisted students to let them know about the new sections?
Can you pass this message on to relevant advisors who might know of particular students that need Calculus 2?
As of now, the two new sections are not making, but I hope by the end of the week they will have made so we can schedule instructors for them.
