Hello all,
When students are re-admitted to UTSA, their old record will still be active until the
first day of class in their new semester at UTSA. This means that Degree Works will still
pull information for the old major and/or catalog, until the first day of class because
Degree Works reads Banner.
Example 1:
This student is a re-admit for Fall 2017. We see their old record is active until 201810
in SGASTDN. So, when we look at Degree Works, we see the core and degree requirements for
their old catalog. This will be the case until the first day of Fall 2017 when the old
record will become inactive. The work around for this is doing a What-If for the new
catalog.

Example 2:
This student is a re-admit for Fall 2017 but are pursuing a different degree type than the
last time they were at UTSA. The same thing still applies as above, however, we can
change the degree type in Degree Works, which will bring up the information for the major
they will start in Fall 2017.
