[Advising] Update on AIS 2913

Hello Advising Community, I'm writing to share information about: AIS 2913 - Advanced Academic Introduction and Strategies. This course will substitute for AIS in the core only for students who are enrolled in the course for Fall 2026. I've confirmed with the Degree Works team that all impacted students already have an exception in their Degree Works for the class to count towards their core curriculum. At the end of the term after final grades post, the course will be tagged with the AIS and 090 code. Undergraduate Studies is still determining if the course will be added to the Core moving forward. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for your patience with this new information. Jade Martinez, M.Ed.
