Subject: UPDATE: CACP Change of Major process
Importance: High
We wanted to provide an update regarding the change of major process for CACP majors.
Students who wish to change their major to CACP are required to submit a Change of Major Application directly to the Department of their intended new major for consideration.
Advising should not change students majors in Banner, once reviewed and if approved, the change of major is completed by the approving Department; and they will notify the student via email. Please note that students will not be assigned a downtown advisor until the Center is notified of the department(s) decision on whether the student(s) has been accepted into the major.
I have re-checked and confirmed with each CACP department this morning and the change of major forms are not available on the College's website. Attached are the forms for each major, which can still be found on the Academic Advising I: drive and should be accessible by all advisors and front desk staff who have access to the folder at: AcademicAdvising/DT/CACP/MajorChangeRequest.
* For Architecture and Interior Design majors: forms should be submitted to the Department of Architecture at MNT 1.122. For questions regarding the status of requests, please refer students to Roxanne Cuevas at 210.458-3011.
* For Constructions Science Management majors: forms should be submitted to the Department of Construction Science at MNT 3.360. For questions regarding the status of requests, please refer students to Marcella Guerrero at 210.458.3099.
If you have any questions regarding these majors, feel free to contact the Downtown Advising liaisons Susie (CSM major) or Connor (ARC/IDE majors) directly for assistance.
Thank you,
Monica

Hi Dr. Levitt,
We've noticed a few classes being opened for spring, specifically Spanish I & II, an advanced Creative Writing, and Music aural & basic part I. The advisors are very excited about these developments, and I'm wondering whether there are any others we can expect to be added to the spring schedule? We've been contacting our spring graduation candidates right away-those who we know are in need of these specific courses, and would like to continue to do so.
Thanks,
Jackie
