90-hour hold emails

It looks like almost 300 students got emails about 90-hour holds yesterday, even though no new holds have been placed. My guess is that something triggered Starfish/EARN to think that those students' hold status had changed, and so it sent out the emails. It could be that someone inadvertently ran a script that made it happen, or maybe it was just a system glitch. If that's the case, though, I don't know why only students with 90-hour holds got emails and not students with 45-hour holds. At any rate, since Starfish is going away anyway, I've disabled both the 45 and 90 hour hold functions, so no more emails should be sent out. Jimmy James R. This is an important message Please do not fill out your students Contract to Graduate that will begin for Fall 2016 (201710) until at least mid-MAY. It is absolutely important before you and your student fill out the C2G to check in SGASTDN if the student is even coded for the floating 30 or 45. On occasion, the student residency code may not change in SGASTDN, but they might be on either the 30 or 45 report we receive every Wednesday which require an update from Financial Services. Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences
