Hello Angel,
I am not sure who I need to tell, but I have accepted a new position and promotion to Assistant Director of the First Yea Experience Program with the University College. Please let me know who to contact if I need to do something to remove me from the advisor status.
Thank you,

Subject: [Advising] EARN Caseloads
Good Morning Advisors,
Caseloads have been added to EARN, you now have a second role in the system called Assigned Advisor. Selecting Assigned Advisor from the connection drop down menu will allow you to see all the students currently assigned to you, and you can see any flags for your caseload students. You will still have the Academic Advisor role which allows you to see all UTSA students. If you have any questions let me know.
Thanks,
Angel Olivarez

AAC Report on Undergraduate Academic Advising - 2014
by advising@lists.sis.utsa.edu
Howdy Everyone,
Attached to this email you will find a copy of the 2014 Report of the Academic Advising Council (AAC) on Undergraduate Academic Advising at UTSA. This report includes the results of the 2014 AAC Advising Survey administered in July, as well as additional information about academic advising. Many recommendations are made and action steps for different groups (university administration, advising community, the AAC, etc.) are suggested. We hope to discuss the report further with everyone over the next few weeks or months.
Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey and helped us gather information for the report. A special thank you to Matt Keneson, Michele Tencza, Angie Zulaica, Miranda Swain, Sara Gothelf, and Johanna Krienke for the work you did putting the report together.

Degree Works Exceptions
by advising@lists.sis.utsa.edu
All,
Good afternoon. We are aware that exceptions are not working in Degree Works. Per Charlie, the issue will be fixed with an expected upgrade. It is currently being run in the Test environment, must then be vetted, and then they will roll it to Production.
Thanks,
D

As an added bonus, first person to correctly name all 13 movie characters in the flyer gets their first drink on me. Hint: the creeping eye counts as one, but which one?
Please do not reply all. Email directly at Phillip.casarez(a)utsa.edu<mailto:Phillip.casarez@utsa.edu> if you'd like to participate.
Hope to you see you soon.
