Good Afternoon,
Per our Director of Reporting, any credit that is completed after High School Graduation should be coded as transfer work, not dual credit. This means the summer credits earned immediately after high school needs to be transferred in as transfer credit.
The Director of Analysis & Certification confirmed the students will still be included in our fall FTIC cohort as well. This policy change is effective immediately.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Crystal

Student Support Services has room for about 5 more freshmen
by advising@lists.sis.utsa.edu
GREETINGS,
Do you have any Freshmen that are appearing to struggle, but you know they are going to make it and wish they had a little extra support?
We have reviewed our present student status and believe we have room for about 5 more Freshmen. To be eligible they must be:
1. In good academic standing at the end of the Spring Semester and has a desire to succeed an to graduate
2. Must be eligible for our program - US Citizen, and Either: First Generation-Income Eligible-or Student with Disability (Freshmen will be given higher priority than others)
3. Must be committed to getting their degree from UTSA
4. Must complete our application online and complete the attached income eligibility form: http://p20.utsa.edu/programs/trio_student_support_services/
5. We will then contact student to set up an individual meeting to establish their eligibility to our program and accept them by the first weeks of April
Thanks for referring us some great students!
