The Student Health Services Downtown Campus Clinic closed on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Medical services will remain available to all currently enrolled UTSA students at the Main Campus in Recreation Wellness Center (RWC) 1.500. Student Disability Services will close their downtown location on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Students will continue to receive disability services through the Main Campus location in MS 3.01.16. For additional information related to Student Disability Services please visit utsa.edu/disability<http://www.utsa.edu/disability/> or call 210-458-4157. UTSA Counseling Services<http://www.utsa.edu/counsel/> downtown office (BVB 1.308) will be closed on Mondays starting July 11, and will remain open Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. through July. As of August 1, Counseling Services will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays only. All services will be by appointment only. To speak to a counselor (24/7) call 210-458-4140. Student Health Services provides students with a free telephonic triage nurse line during business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Telephone triage nurses help students over the phone, answering their health questions and determining what kind of care they need. Telephonic triage nurses can also schedule an appointment for a student at our Main Campus clinic. To reach a telephonic triage nurse, students can call 210-458-4142 and select menu option 3. Students can schedule a medical appointment at Student Health Services online using the myMed Patient portal: https://mymed.utsa.edu/login_directory.aspx. Students needing medical assistance at night or on weekends can visit our website for maps of urgent care clinics, emergency rooms and find our Community Resource Guide http://www.utsa.edu/health/resources/.

Degree Works: Worksheet and Planner Open Simultaneously

Hello all, I recently learned a way to make it possible to have the worksheet and planner open at the same time is to have Degree Works open in two browsers. One browser can have the worksheet open and the other can have the plan open. I would highly recommend that if you do this, that you use Firefox or Chrome as the browser that you have the plan open rather than Internet Explorer. Academic Advising Council Survey Report

Hello Everyone, Attached you will find the Academic Advising Council's 2016 report on undergraduate academic advising at UTSA. This report can also be found on the AAC's website<http://www.utsa.edu/aac/documents/AAC%20Report%20on%20Undergraduate%20Aca...>. The report was sent to directors and AAC members last week, but we wanted to send it out on the listserve to make sure everyone has gotten a copy of it. This report includes the results of the 2016 AAC Advisor Survey conducted in March. The "Discussion & Recommendations" section combines the survey results with additional information and data gathered by the AAC. Because the report is lengthy and some information is duplicated in the "Survey Results" and "Discussion & Recommendations" sections, it is recommended that the "Executive Summary" and "Discussion & Recommendations" sections be reviewed at a minimum. A special thank you to Matt Keneson, Brandy Barksdale, Miranda Swain, Chad McFadon, Lisa Merritt, and Amy Flack for the work they did on the report. Thank you to the AAC, Barbara Smith, and others for the feedback and additional information provided for the report. Finally, thank you again to everyone who completed the survey.
