Bittersweet News from MPS
by advising@lists.sis.utsa.edu
Dear Advising Community,
I am happy for Amy Gomez to announce that she has accepted an advising position with Northwest Vista College. Personally, I am sad to see her go.
Amy has been part of the COSUAC/MPS family for four years. She has witnessed many changes including three moves, many team members, and the addition of business majors to our areas of "expertise." Through it all, she has been a steady, smiling presence encouraging others to embrace the change and reminding us that we will get through it together. She has been instrumental in making this reorganization a smooth and efficient process for MPS. I remember when she was the "newest kid on the block" and I am so proud of the leader she has become! All of the MPS advisors will agree that she has been an anchor and a resource for us all. She will make a wonderful addition to NVC and will advocate for students transferring to UTSA, I'm sure.
Congratulations on this new chapter, Amy! Thank you for your creativity, insight, calming voice and positive energy! You will be missed!
