The Office of Undergraduate Research is accepting registration for the Fall 2021 Undergraduate Research Virtual Showcase. UTSA Undergraduate students currently working on or who participated in an REU or summer research experience this summer are encouraged to present at the Fall 2021 virtual undergraduate research showcase.
The showcase is open to all UTSA undergraduates who participated in a research experience during Spring, 2021, Summer 2021 and Fall 2021.
Presentation options include:
* Narrated Poster Session
(w/2 min pre-recorded narration)
* Oral PowerPoint Session -Live Virtual
(10 min PowerPoint with 3 min Q&A)

Join us as we pay tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans during November's Native American Heritage Month. In this conversation, Frankie Orona, Executive Director of the Society of Native Nations, and UTSA’s COEHD Assistant Professor Dr. Marissa Muñoz will offer some historical context for the Native peoples of Texas as the basis for understanding how UTSA can better serve San Antonio’s urban Native population. Various suggestions include respectful land acknowledgments, outreach to Native students, cultivation of community on campus, and purposefully shifting research agendas toward research with Native partners.
