UT San Antonio Downtown Summer Potluck
by COEHD Communications
Hello COEHD Faculty and Staff,
Please see the message below on behalf on Juan Cantu.
——————————————————————————————————————————
I’m excited about the event happening at the Downtown Campus and wanted to share an update regarding our UTSA Downtown Summer Potluck.
It looks like we are going to celebrate for two days in a row! Our Downtown Summer Potluck will take place on June 3, followed by the Downtown Campus Staff Appreciation Event on June 4. I could be wrong, but I believe this may be the first time in my 20 years with the University that we’ve had a Staff Appreciation Event celebrated at the Downtown Campus. Please correct me if I’m mistaken, but this feels like a huge step forward for our Downtown community. Many of us are based downtown and are not always able to travel to Main Campus—not because we don’t want to, but simply because of our location and responsibilities here.
In addition, I’ve been approached about possibly supporting the “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive for Communities In Schools at the Downtown Campus. I understand participation has been low in previous years for a variety of reasons, and with all the moves and renovations happening this summer, I know it may be difficult for many.
However, to help support our community, I think it’s important that we at least try.
For our Downtown Potluck on June 3, in the spirit of community, we will be collecting:
* Non-perishable food items
* Toiletries (feminine care products, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, etc.)
for donation to the Roadrunner Food Pantry.
Donations are not required, but they are warmly welcomed. 💙🧡
In addition, we will also be collecting school supplies for Communities In Schools. Whatever you are able to donate and bring to the potluck would be greatly appreciated. I do not yet have a pickup date or time, but with both the Potluck and Staff Appreciation Event happening back-to-back, I’m hopeful we can exceed last summer’s combined Downtown and Main Campus total of 200 pounds of donated school supplies.

COEHD Branding Teams Channel
by COEHD Communications
Hello COEHD Faculty and Staff,
As the university continues to transition to a unified visual identity for UT San Antonio, we have reached a new phase of receiving logo suites for the academic campus colleges. Previously, logo suites were available to the public through the University Marketing Resource Library. They are now restricted to select groups and college communication teams are responsible for distributing the suites within their colleges.
We are actively adding people to the Teams channel, but if you don’t receive an invite by EOD tomorrow or prefer to join on your own, you can use the instructions below to join with a code.
How to join "TEAM - COEHD Branding” using a code:

All UT San Antonio branded merchandise must be ordered through the CLC/UT System licensed vendors list<https://trademarks.utexas.edu/ut-system-institutions>. Licensed vendors are obligated to protect and reproduce the UT San Antonio brand accurately. They have direct access to the correct logo files and brand guidelines, ensuring what you order is correct.
In mid‑ to late‑summer 2026, we are expecting to receive expanded logo suites to include departmental naming and centers residing in schools and colleges.
