9th ANNUAL COEHD RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM--INVITATION
by Rosalind Horowitz
27 January 2018
Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to invite faculty and students to present at our 9th Annual College Research Colloquium, to be held on the 27th of February, Wednesday, in the JPL, Assembly Room, 4th floor, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This is an opportunity to present research that is being formulated, in progress, presented at a conference or published in journals or as book chapters. The roundtable format will allow for presentation and discussion of a specific study, the posing of questions, and findings, and the analysis of larger questions being pursued. In the past, many have used laptop powerpoint presentations and/or handouts. The talks will be for 30 minutes, allowing attendees to move to additional tables.
The College website contains a flyer and link for submitting projects. Submissions are due by February 20th,
5:00 p.m. See College Events Calendar below. Presentations are encouraged from all faculty and across all College Departments.
Please share this information with doctoral, masters students, and undergraduates who may be part of your research teams or may be developing dissertations, thesis studies, honors papers, or other research. This is a great opportunity to grow our research and to give emerging research-scholars practice in presenting their work. It is also important for developing one's thinking and including projects on a Curriculum Vitae.
Please do not hesistate to contact me if there are questions.
All warmest regards as we celebrate our 50th year,
Rosalind Horowitz

Jo Ann,
Thank you so much for including the Research Colloquium on the College website!
I will be working with a doctoral student on receiving the applications for presentations, something you did last year and will not need to do.
I am sending this note because I also would like to invite you to join us and to take some photos at the onset of the program. I will also take photos during the later time of the session.
All best regards.
