The theme of this year's TexLER 2025 Conference is, "Reclaiming Community Narratives in the 21st Century." This theme directly connects with your interests and scholarship, and I know you would make a wonderful contribution to our community if you chose to present. We invite faculty, staff, and students to submit proposals for presentations that align with this year's theme, and any other conference research strands that can be found on our website and below. Whether you have innovative research to share, pedagogical practices to discuss, or community-engaged projects to showcase, this conference provides an excellent platform to exchange ideas and foster collaboration. We welcome submissions that address (but are not limited to) the following topics: * Language ideologies and their influence on educational policy and classroom practice * Histories and legacies of linguistic marginalization * Storytelling, oral traditions, and multimodal literacies in community contexts * Archival resistance and community-based counter-histories * Language and literacy education as a site of critical consciousness and transformation * Ethnographic, critical, or participatory approaches to documenting community narratives * The role of educators and researchers in co-constructing inclusive educational futures Presentations may take the form of research papers, roundtable discussions, creative multimedia storytelling, pedagogical reflections, or community-engaged projects.
