Associate Professor Dr. Kristen Lindahl, of the Department of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies, recently participated as an English Language Specialist in Trinidad and Tobago to support the needs of the Venezuelan refugees who have resettled in the islands. Dr. Lindahl visited schools, universities, non-government organizations (NGOs) and government agencies to explore ESL curriculum, planning and pedagogy that would support children and adults learning English in their new environment.
