Dear Investigators,
The NIMH Division of Services and Intervention Research (DSIR) would like to call your
attention to a set of Notices that announce our intent to publish Funding Opportunity
Announcements (FOAs) that address suicide prevention research priorities. The planned FOAs
will encourage research using Research Project Grant (R01 and R34) and Advanced Center
(P50) mechanisms.
The purpose of these Notices is to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop
meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. Note: Applications are not being
solicited at this time.
Following the publication of the FOAs, if after reading the detailed funding announcement
you are interested in applying, we encourage you to send a brief concept paper (1-3 pages)
outlining the plans for your application to the NIMH Program Contact listed on the FOA.
