The Yale Club of South Texas is hosting a talk by Meg Urry, the Israel Munson Professor of
Physics at Yale on October 20th, from 5:30 to 7:30, near the Pearl. While her primary
research is on supermassive black holes, this talk will be about women in STEM. I’ve been
told that she’s a terrific speaker, and there’s a short reception before the talk. The
talk is free (you can donate $10 if you feel you need to), there are about 50 spots
available, and we ask that people who plan to come register at:

Thanks in advance for your help,
