Hi everyone, This Summer 2024 there will be a study abroad in Jyvaskyla, Finland during the 5-week Session 1, May 28-July 2. Finnish Foundations: Early Childhood Education Study Abroad is a 2-week abroad trip where students will have the opportunity to have exposure to Finland's high-quality education system, enrich students' perspectives on education and potentially inspire new teaching and learning methods upon their return. This opportunity is open to ALL students in COEHD. Course credits will count towards education degrees. You will learn directly from expert teachers at Early Childhood Forest Schools in Jyvaskyla. Students will also go to the University of Jyvaskyla where they will take part in a course for international students titled, Education in Finland. Fun explorations and excursions will also be a part of the program. This study abroad program in Finland promises a transformative educational experience, combining academic excellence with cross-cultural immersion.
