Subject: SECC charitable giving campaign and Tuesday, October 15
Greetings All,
We are engaged in the SECC charitable giving campaign and Tuesday, October 15 (
Tomorrow!!) is our contest with UT Health!
Dr. Eighmy would like to see 100% participation and of course for UTSA to win the
challenge! I want to encourage all in COEHD to give! The minimum donation is $3.00! Also,
you may designate a payroll deduction and designate the charity or charities of your
choice (see the attached catalog and pledge form). In order to encourage 100%
participation, we will raffle off an iPad as a grand prize ! It is really important to
encourage each other to give at whatever level you are able, and the one time gift can be
as little as $3.00. Imagine! A new iPad for $3.00!! You have to be in it to win it!
Please contact your department representative below.
To enter the raffle, please submit to your pledge form to your department representative
by sending the digital printout of your giving
http://www1.utsa.edu/secc/wordpress/?page_id=66 or the paper copy of pledge form(see
attached). The paper copy pledge form will need to be put in an envelope and hand
delivered to the UTSA business office on October 15. Your name will be entered in the
raffle for the iPad.
Your department representatives are:
Bicultural and Bilingual Studies- Margarita Gomez
Counseling-Donna Harris
Child Development Center- Earlene Gonzales
Graduate Studies- Chris Kibbe
Educational Leadership - Lisa Chavez
Educational Psychology -Teresa Pena
Interdisplinary Learning and Teaching-Iliana Rodriguez

Prefreshman Engineering Program- Krystal Peralez
Kinesiology Health and Nutrition -Nikki McGovern
Teacher Educational Services-Iris Martinez
Race, Ethnicity, Gender, Sexuality Studies-Carolyn Motley
Vice Provost and Dean's Office-Laura Earleywine
Remember- $3.00 is the minimum amount, but collectively we can make a big difference!
But in all seriousness, while a raffle is fun, the giving is important and we want the
college to be at 100% and meet President Eighmy's goal.
Please help us meet the goal of 100% participation for COEHD.
Best,
Margo
