Dear Faculty,
If you have a sponsored project that has been affected by the nationwide response to
COVID-19, please let me or your RSC Director know if think you need help to secure an
extension of the period for your to conduct your work or if you want shift the focus of
your research during the interim.
See below an email from Dr. Sandra Garcia, regarding the availability of the RSCs staff to
help.
Please contact me, your RSC Director, or Dr. Garcia if we can help you secure approval to
change project objectives, expenditures, or the duration/enddate of your project.
I’ve already asked you to send us information about COVID-19 related research we can help
you try to secure funding for, but also note that there are some expedited means of
funding such research:
https://www.msrdconsortium.org/funding
and, federal funding:
http://research.utsa.edu/covidfundingopps/
And local funding:
http://www.saafdn.org/Nonprofits/Grants/COVID-19-Response-Fund
If any of these look interesting and I can help you get the support you need to develop a
proposal, please let me know.
