Laura Earleywine On Behalf Of Margo DelliCarpini: Dear Colleagues, I hope you are enjoying some much deserved down time this summer. I wanted to share an open event that will take place at the DTC on Monday July 17 from 12-1:00 PM, DBB 3.110. As you may have heard, we are working with the CAST Tech Project as the University partner. The fall start date for the school's opening is much anticipated, as we have worked to develop ideas around professional educator preparation, field based educator preparation, teacher development, mentorship, university school partnerships, and partnerships with our economic partners in the community in this wonderful high school environment. Now that the foundation has been established, we are able to work with faculty who are interested in being a part of the research that can take place in the project. Carmen Fies will be holding an informational session, with Amaury Nora , Associate Dean for Research, to discuss where faculty research interests lie and what opportunities exist for new or existing research projects to take place within the scope of the project. We hope that you are able to attend if you are interested in research opportunities related to this project.
