Greetings Everyone-- Although I'm sure that most if not all of you are already aware of the following two things, I want to provide this information to you: 1) I've now listened to two interviews with former President Jimmy Carter regarding his new book, and I believe that this is something we all need to be aware of, as we prepare seducators, counselors, and health professional. The book is entitled: A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence and Power" 2) The latest issue of the Chronicle of Higher Education leads with the front page article: "New Gender Gap in Scholarship: Men are 64% more likely than women to cite their own research"" Obviously, there's still so much to be done, and we should be part of the solution. Thanks for all that you do to address these issues in your classes and among your colleagues, friends neighbors, legislators, and so many more.... Betty
