Saturday, February 1, 2014 UTSA Main Campus - University Center 9:00 am - 4:30pm Leadership NOW! is a free, one-day conference for UTSA students. The conference focuses on developing leadership skills, providing an open dialogue to address tough issues that leaders face, and offering a diverse spectrum of workshops centered around the theme Finding Your Voice. Sharing Your Vision. Leadership NOW! will include breakout sessions, a keynote speaker, and opportunities to network with fellow attendees. Leadership NOW! invites UTSA students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to submit program proposals for the conference. We are looking for programs with exciting new topics that challenge traditional leadership workshop styles and content. Program proposals can be submitted by clicking here<http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LSKYVJ7>;. Leadership NOW! program proposals are due Friday, November 15, 2013. Applicants will be notified of their status by December 6, 2013. We are looking for great session presentations regarding all leadership levels. When submitting your session proposal, you will have the opportunity to select the target audience leadership level. Topics can include, but are not limited to, values congruence in leadership, ethics, program planning, evaluating the organization/preparing summaries/reports for recognition, time management, how to take leadership skills to the job world, professionalism, conflict management, risk management/reduction, working with others...really the list is endless! We are looking to include your session within the following areas of student learning: responsibility, engaged citizenship, active leader, critical thinking, and healthy and balanced living. Sessions will be 50 minutes in length.
