I hope that you had a great summer. HCAP and COEHD are partnering with San Antonio,
Communities in Schools

to host the annual Whole Child Whole Community Conference on November 3rd. This
conference serves as an opportunity for UTSA to build a relationship with CISSA and our
local school systems.
A description of the conference can be found below as well as instructions for registering
as an attendee or submitting a proposal to be a presenter. Conference activities will
occur on UTSA's downtown campus.

As we begin a new school year, educators and youth service providers are searching for
tools to support the whole child and their mental health needs. School and community
leaders are seeking to expand their knowledge to better advocate and address systemic
barriers with hopes to build a more equitable future. Focusing on the whole child requires
the whole community to come together. As the largest mental health provider in schools,

. Tickets are $100 per person ($50 per student) and the registration deadline is Friday,
October 7th. Please share this with your team and network. Breakout session descriptions
will be released as we get closer to the event. Session topics have been curated for
Educators, Counselors, Youth Serving Program Staff, Community Leaders, and Attorneys.
Continuing Education Credits provided for eligible professionals.

* Promoting Healing and Mindfulness
* Shifting Systems to Promote Equity
* Caring for the Caregiver
