The UTSA College of Public Policy is hosting an information session on the Archer Graduate Program in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 11, 2018 in the Student Union – SU 2.02.12 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Two additional sessions will take place at a later date at the Downtown Campus. The Archer program gives students the opportunity to intern in Washington, D.C. during the summer semester. They learn more about the federal policy-making process and gain valuable skills necessary in many public service professions. Students do not have to be in the College of Public Policy to apply. This education and professional opportunity is for any graduate student at UTSA who may have an interest in politics and an interest in the role of government as it pertains to their educational and career goals. Peanut butter parking time has returned to UTSA. Today, Campus Services launched its fourth annual Peanut Butter Parking Campaign in collaboration with the Student Government Association (SGA) and the San Antonio Food Bank. During the campaign, customers have the option to pay eligible parking citations issued between Monday, August 27 and Friday, August 31 with a donation of peanut butter. The Peanut Butter Parking Campaign educates the campus community about parking policies while simultaneously reducing financial burden and benefiting the local community.
