Good morning, As announced in a prior email, our new UTeachSA program proudly serves the first cohort of 14 students who are interested in becoming STEM teachers in secondary schools. We are in the process of adapting the sequence of course work to meet the needs of our local community. Our first COEHD “UTeachSA Conversations” took place on Oct 25 at the 1604 campus, and our second meeting will take place next week. You are invited to join us in developing the program into an exemplary model integrating technology, pedagogy, and content into a culturally grounded holistic experience for our students. The first meeting at the Downtown Campus, open to all of COEHD, will take place in BV 4.301B (Buena Vista building, 4th floor) on Monday, November 14, 2016, from 1-2 pm.
