Good afternoon everyone,
Please see the below email, sent on behalf of the Institute of Texan Cultures.
Thank you!
We have two student exhibits coming up, one of which comes from our own UTSA Anthropology
students, Viva San Antonio: Celebrating Our City.
http://www.texancultures.com/exhibit/vivasanantonio/<https://na01.safe...
It’s a look at San Antonio events, landmarks, and cultural phenomena, how tourism may have
affected them, and their influence on cultural authenticity.
Opening reception is 6 – 8 p.m., Dec. 6, here at the museum.
The second is from the Brooks Academy of Science and Engineering, The Creation of Me.

Students from grades 9 to 12 delved into their family histories and turned their family
photos into artworks.
Opening reception is 6 – 8 p.m., Dec. 6
Lots more coming up at the museum, including holiday celebrations, Asian Festival (Feb. 9)
and a big event with the Symphony League (Feb. 25).
