Good morning COEHD, Please find the link to the College of Education and Human Development's Annual Fall Kick-off Meeting. A time, when faculty and staff come together to share their plans for the journey ahead. Every semester is an opportunity for us, as a college, to continue to grow our programs, increase enrollment, strengthen our partnerships, and maintain the steady steamboat that is COEHD. We are pleased to have been joined by Interim Provost Dr. Heather Shipley, who provided us with an overview of everything happening within UTSA. From there, Dean Torres expanded on the college's mission and touched on the challenges we face in the Higher Education community and how we can best work together to continue supporting our students. To emphasize the value and need for strategic partnerships, the college hosted Celina Moreno, President and CEO of the Intercultural Development Research Association, a group that has maintained a long-time relationship working with our great faculty at UTSA. President Moreno, outlined the policy and advocacy work her organization does such as fighting for fair and uncensored education policies, to name a few.
