Posters were submitted from UTSA (4), UT Arlington (2), University of the Incarnate Word, and the University of Houston-Victoria. Dr. Vijay Kanagala chaired the poster session, and was assisted in judging posters by Dr. Mark Giles of ELPS and Dr. Lucila Ek of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies. Mr. Alvin Curette, a doctoral student from the ELPS Higher Education program, won for his poster on the "Experiences of African American Undergraduates in a Black Male Student Organization at a Hispanic Serving Institution." Two others received Honorable Mentions, including Jennifer Castro of UTSA and Erin Fogleman of UT Arlington.
