was recently selected by the National Association for Early Childhood Teacher Educators

In partnership with UTSA’s Roadrunner Pantry and the Campus Recreation Center, the
dietetic program hosted a “Friendsgiving Luncheon” for UTSA students on November 25, a few
days before Thanksgiving, to gather and enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal.

with test scores from its first cohort showing improved levels of reading and math through

It is no secret that graphic novels have been creeping into the social studies curriculum.
Educators from the Cult of Pedagogy to Edutopia, the National Council for Teachers of
English to Scholastic are promoting the genre. Possibly the most famous is Maus, about the
experiences of a Holocaust survivor. But more and more books are being created and
increasingly their timelines are intersecting.

Students in UTSA’s College of Architecture, Construction and Planning will be a part of
the design, construction and optimization process of a sustainable, universally designed
smart home. The project will provide architecture students with an opportunity to
collaborate with engineering students and incorporate technology in the architecture of a
building that serves the end users and preserves the environment.
