Colleagues,
With AERA in town, UTSA has organized several workshops for the community put on by AERA
Division J (Postsecondary) scholars with local co-presenters. One of the workshops is on
undocumented students/families and college (Saturday, April 29, 1 pm). The attached flier
is for the undocumented student workshop. Could you please share information about this
workshop with your networks in town? There currently are quite a few remaining slots for
this session, which is scheduled in the Aula Canaria of the UTSA Downtown Campus.
The link to register for the Saturday workshops (which includes the one for undocumented
students and families) is:

We offer free parking for Saturday, but can only send a parking decal after participants
register. We would appreciate anything you can do to help us get the word out about this
workshop so that people register and we can send a parking pass.
Other sessions involve
· Comparing High school graduation curricula for college readiness (Saturday,
April 29, 9 am)
· Deaf Education in South Texas (Monday, May 1, 9 am)
· Men of Color and College (May 1, 1 pm)
I am attaching the fliers for those session as well. The registration link for Monday
sessions is:

Thanks in advance for your help with this.
