Greetings everyone-- We've had a coffeemaker in the COHED DT Dean's office for some time, but today, we have placed a new Keurig coffee maker in the Faculty/Staff Lounge on the third floor in the Main Building at the 1604 campus, just across from the Dean's Office. We've also placed a pitcher of filtered water next to the coffee maker for your convenience. Any faculty or staff member who would like to use the machine just has to bring her/his own k-cups to use in the machine (coffee or tea K-cups). Since the Keurig coffee maker is not secured in place, I ask that everyone who uses the Faculty/Staff Lounge takes care not to leave the door unlocked or open to the hallway when there is no one in the room. For those of you who teach classes in that room, please make sure that the students understand that the Keurig coffee maker is not for their use. I'm pleased to be able to make this amenity available to all of you, along with the microwave, which has been in place for the past year. Hopefully, this will make it even more attractive to go to the Lounge, and spend some time drinking coffee/tea and socializing with one another. It will also provide a nice "perk" for any guests you may bring to the college. Enjoy! Take care, Betty
