Dear COEHD Faculty and Staff,
Please see the email below and attached memo from Dr. Agrawal regarding an expedited
admissions/enrollment/advising process for students previously planning to attend
universities in areas hard-hit by Hurricane Harvey who now wish to attend UTSA.
Please contact the Dean's Office if you have any questions or concerns that cannot be
resolved at the department level, and we will work with the Provost Office to address
them.
Thank you.

Subject: UTSA Response to Undergraduate Students Impacted by Hurricane Harvey
Importance: High
Good morning,
Attached please find a memo from Dr. Agrawal regarding an expedited
admissions/enrollment/advising process for students previously planning to attend
universities in areas hard-hit by Hurricane Harvey who now wish to attend UTSA. We are
anticipating 30 - 40 students will join UTSA between now and census date, which is Sept.
7th.
In addition, some of our current students have been activated as part of the Texas
National Guard in response to Hurricane Harvey. Dr. Agrawal is asking all faculty for
their understanding as these students help with the humanitarian efforts and to work with
the students to allow them to make up any coursework they may miss.
Please forward this memo to your faculty and staff.
Thank you,
Debbie
