Hi Armando,
Go ahead and send it on both of these listservs; it's always faster when you as a
member of them sends it out instead of waiting on either of us.

Subject: FW: Pan-American Photography - Exhibit and Artist Talk
I'm forwarding an email and flyer from Guillermina Zabala, professor of practice in
Film and Media Studies. Is there a way we can post her flyer on our BBL website or
facebook to get the word out to our students and faculty?
Thanks,
Armando

Subject: Pan-American Photography - Exhibit and Artist Talk
Hi Armando,
I would like to invite you, the Bilingual / Bicultural studies faculty and students to the
upcoming artist talk which is part of the Centro de Artes photography exhibit "From
SA to SA: An Exhibition of Pan-American Documentary Photography." The event will take
place Thursday, Oct 26 (6 to 8 pm) and will feature two of the participating photographers
Francisco Cortes (San Antonio) and Verónica Cardenas (McAllen), and Washington Post
journalist Arelis R. Hernández. In addition to the talk, students and faculty will be able
to see the exhibit that showcases over 200 photographs from South, Central and North
America.
Since the majority of the photographers are based in Latin America, we will have a virtual
artist talk on November 15 with the international photographers. This event will be good
for students who are interested on journalism, documentary photography, Latin America
studies, and political science. More info on the virtual talk coming soon.
Please, find attached the flyer for the Oct 26 artist talk and here is the link with more
information:

I would appreciate it if you could distribute this event among your faculty and students.
Best,
Guillermina Zabala Suárez, M.A.
