Dear Faculty, This is still another reminder that the first-ever UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH DAY, to be a yearly event, will be on Thursday, April 24th, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in a number of spaces, including the Denman Room of the UC (the Martinello Prize), other UC rooms, the Hallways, the Walkways, and surrounding areas. Please encourage our undergraduate and graduate students as well to attend. The research our students have conducted will primarily be presented in poster format but there will be other modes of presentation as well. There will be opportunities to view the posters, talk to the researchers, and learn a great deal about a variety of research questions and methods that bear on educational successes. A range of Colleges, Departments, and Programs will be represented. The opportunity is rich and engaging! The very best of these research projects compete annually for the Giuseppe Antonio and Marietta Martinello Prize for Inquiry, an event that, for the first time this year, is aligned with the university-wide undergraduate research day.
