Subject: Lactation Room Options for Students
SENT TO ALL STUDENT AFFAIRS STAFF
In the past, students who are nursing mothers, have requested a private space to pump
breast milk while on campus. These requests have been managed on a case-by-case basis.
In an effort to further accommodate these students, Student Health Services is pleased to
announce the creation of a new resource
webpage<http://utsa.edu/health/resources/lactation-rooms.html> which lists some
available room options at the Main Campus that could be used for lactation purposes.
Barbara Reyes, Assistant Director of Health Promotions and Marketing at Student Health
Services, will serve as the point of contact for these types of inquiries and can be
reached at (210) 458-6419 or via email at
Barbara.Reyes@utsa.edu<mailto:Barbara.Reyes@utsa.edu>. Student requests from the
Downtown Campus should be referred to Barbara for further assistance. We appreciate your
help in informing your departments and offices about the new resource
webpage<http://utsa.edu/health/resources/lactation-rooms.html> and point of
contact.
Sincerely,
Student Health Services
