UT Health Science Center is hosting a very interesting community conference on Saturday,
January 28th. This conference may interest you and/or your students. Please spread the
word. It is free, but requires registration by January 20th. Please spread the word.
On January 28, 2017, join us for the 10th Annual Community Service Learning (CSL)
Conference<http://www.texashumanities.org/cslconference> “Growing Resilient
Communities.” Christena Cleveland, Ph.D., a social psychologist, author and Duke
University professor will deliver the keynote address. An engaging and dynamic presenter,
Dr. Cleveland will help us explore best practices in working alongside communities to tap
into their inherent wisdom and build resilience through social cohesion.
