COEHD open labs offer free benefits to
students<http://education.utsa.edu/awards_announcements/article/coehd_...
With the 2018 Spring semester in full swing, students enrolled at the College of Education
and Human Development (COEHD) have access to free benefits they may not realize are
available to them. COEHD faculty can assist by encouraging students to take advantage of
the services offered at the labs at the main or the downtown campuses!
The COEHD Open Labs offer the following benefits to enrolled COEHD students.
• Provide basic user assistance for Photostory, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Provide modern Laptop and iPad with the latest software installed.
• Flatbed scanners and high-speed digital scanning.
• Desktop computer access for Macs or PCs. Typical software installed; Inspiration,
Kidspiration, NVIVO, MS Movie Maker, Apple iMovie, and IBM SPSS.
• Poster printing (3 posters per semester).
• Protective plastic frames 24” x 32” for poster inserts.
• Comb binding for making booklets.
• Office machines and supplies, such as poster laminator, 2- and 3-hole punch, stapler,
tape, scissors, paper cutter, USB microphones.
• University PRINT SPOT.
• We are open on the weekends at 1604: Saturday and Sunday 10a-6p

The 2018 deadline to file a Disclosure of Financial Interest is March 1, 2018.
All Tenured and Tenure-Track (T/T-T) Faculty members, Principal Investigators and Project
Directors are required to file a new disclosure each year (UTSA Policy).
Anyone else directly responsible for the design, conduct, or reporting of research, as
identified by the PI, must also file a new disclosure.

The University Life Awards, sponsored by the UTSA Student Government Association, is a
UTSA tradition that honors the most outstanding students, student organizations, faculty,
and staff members on our campus. From the colleges, the Student Government Association
will recognize an outstanding undergraduate and graduate student. Finalists and winners
will be announced at the University Life Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
The COEHD Office of Undergraduate Student Success is seeking nominations for outstanding
undergraduate and graduate students from COEHD faculty and staff. In order to be eligible
for the award, a student must be an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in the
COEHD and currently enrolled at UTSA. The award is based upon academic achievement and
involvement in the UTSA community.
