CONFIDENTIAL and Keep this a SECRET!!
by Alan Shoho
Dear COEHD Faculty and Staff Colleagues,
I have been charged by the Dean to inform you of an important event. One of the COEHD's best resources, Charlie Thurston, the Education Reference Librarian is retiring as of January 3, 2014 after over 30 years of service to UTSA and the COEHD and formerly the Division of Education, although his last day at UTSA will be sometime next week. As a result, the COEHD would like to organize a SECRET potluck celebration for Charlie on Monday, December 16th from 11:30am to 1pm in the COEHD Dean's Lounge on the 4th floor across from the Dean's office.
For those of you who may not know, Charlie has served UTSA for over 30 years and been an invaluable resource to faculty. Please volunteer to bring something to help give Charlie a memorable send-off. HE IS UNAWARE OF THIS, SO PLEASE KEEP IT A SECRET. As far as he knows, he is going out to lunch with me on Monday, but I will bring him up to the Dean's Lounge around 11:30am. If you are willing bring a dish, especially a main or side dish, please let me know.
