Subject: Haven for Hope - Internship Opportunities in Educational Services
Good Afternoon, Ms. Harmon –
As the internship coordinator at Haven for Hope of Bexar County, I am reaching out to universities who have provided interns to our site. Our Educational Services Department would like to extend internship opportunities to students seeking experiences with adult and youth services. Attached documents outline intern responsibilities within this department. We are asking if these opportunities can be shared with students within the College of Education. Our application is available on our website below.
Website: www.HavenforHope.org<http://www.HavenforHope.org>
Application is available by clicking “Give” followed by “Internships” on drop down menu.
Although our internship opportunities may not fit requirements for academic credit, we are open to working with students interested in combined experience of education and social services for people experiencing homelessness.
Thank you,
*Roger De La Cruz

Do any of these sound like your challenges?
* We need to move from siloed, disparate processes to a more centralized process
* We need more transparent, meaningful data on student learning outcomes
* We want our students to reflect more deeply on their learning
________________________________
If you said "yes" to any of these, you're not alone! Over the last 20 years, we've worked with 1000+ institutions to help them successfully meet these challenges. We have partnered with colleges and universities across the world to help shift their approach toward more intentional, strategic assessment practices designed to collect authentic evidence of student learning to inform improvement initiatives. To accomplish this, you need a system that helps with all aspects of this process.
Join us for this free webinar to see how our technology can help you:
* Establish a clear process and central repository for assessment across your institution
* Employ a portfolio-based approach to engaging students in outcomes, competencies, and skill acquisition through self-reflection and feedback
* Improve how you collect and score direct evidence of student learning
* Decrease the time between collecting and using data
* Encourage faculty inquiry and collaboration
