The March begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15. It starts at the MLK Academy at 3501 MLK Drive. UTSA is providingfree shuttle rides to and from the March for all those who register. Buses will leave at 9 a.m. from Brackenridge Ave. Lot 1 in front of the Convocation Center on the Main Campus and at 9:30 a.m. from the Durango Lot on the Downtown Campus. There also will be free t-shirts while supplies last.

UTSA Giant Voice Emergency Notification System, TEST Tomorrow - Thursday, January 4, 2018 (Main & DTC)

UTSA Community,
The UTSA Office of Emergency Management will conduct an indoor-outdoor TEST of the Giant Voice emergency notification system tomorrow: Thursday, January 4 from 8 am - Noon (Main Campus) and 1 pm - 5 pm (Downtown Campus). Most buildings are interfaced with the Giant Voice system, which will announce the following test message twice: "Attention: This is a test of the UTSA Giant Voice Emergency Notification System. This is only a test [Repeat]." These tests are necessary to ensure full readiness of campus warning systems.
The indoor test will last approximately 35 seconds, and NO evacuations will be necessary. UTSA community members and visitors who are outdoors at the Main Campus will hear the same message. During the test, please listen for intelligibility of messages and report any audio issues to BePrepared(a)utsa.edu<mailto:BePrepared@utsa.edu>. Thanks for your cooperation, and again, NO evacuations are necessary during this scheduled TEST.
