Fwd: Applying to NEH Information Session
by Daniel Arriaga
Please see the information below regarding NEH fellowships or faculty awards. They are due in early April.
Thanks!
Monica
Good Afternoon,
Please see the attached flyer for use in promoting the NEH Information Session. In speaking with my colleagues here in the VPR, we determined that ADR presentations would not be necessary. However, we would certainly appreciate and welcome your presence. As you well know, NEH programs have special considerations and require unique institutional support. We feel that you can help bridge the gap for faculty. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,

Subject: [COEHD] Cash Handling Training
Importance: High
Dear Colleagues,
It has come to my attention that not all are up to date with the cash handling compliance training.
If you are a Department Chair, Department Staff member, faculty member with a cost center, Center Director, center staff member, or other person who has a cost center assigned to them it is the policy that you are trained, and if you have been trained more than 5 years ago, it is time to take the course again since a great deal has changed.
In order to accept cash (or checks) and be in compliance with UTSA HOP procedures you have to have a cash handling procedure in place with Gary Lott. Gary Lott requires the Departmental Cash Handling Request Form and the Departmental Cash Handling Security Policy Form with written procedures.
In addition, you need to have a keyed locked box to accept cash as well as a trained individual in cash handling (the course is AM 560).
Please register for the course:
Cash Handling 101(AM 560) training class. See the My Training link (http://training.utsa.edu/) for more information, including registration.
Please be sure to complete this by the end of the Spring 2018 semester.
